Christmas 2024

​We are extremely fortunate that our Christmas concert has been sponsored by a Friend of FCS. Both our chorus pieces are exciting and upbeat, making full use of the brass section. Karl Jenkins has celebrated his 80th birthday this year, and John Rutter celebrates his 80th in 2025.

Spring 2025

​

In spring we have another opportunity to perform with a large orchestra.

 

The core work will be Elgar’s ‘The Music Makers’, along with Parry’s ‘Blest Pair of Sirens’. The concert will be completed with another work by Elgar, his ‘Sea Pictures’, sung by our highly regarded mezzo soloist Judy Brown.
